Meet Sam
Sam is a PROUD Trump Republican. Sam got involved with the grassroots Conservative movement in early 2016 and has not stopped since. In 2018 he worked for multiple pro-Trump State House Candidates as well campaigns for the United States Senate, and he also traveled to North Carolina to help elect US Congressman Dan Bishop in a special election.
In 2020, Sam managed the Youth arm of President Trump's campaign "Student's for Trump" in Michigan and Indiana for Turning Point Action. He helped establish and organize Students for Trump Chapters at all the major Universities in the Great Lakes Region. In addittion to that he helped coordinate a massive doorknocking and rally campaign in swing Congressional districts across the country featuring Donald Trump Jr, Charlie Kirk, and countless others in the Conservative movement.
In addition to the work he has done for the America First movement, Sam has lived in the 29th District his entire life. From a young age Sam has been active in our community, volunteering for numerous youth sports programs as well as working for the City of Taylor's Recreation Department for 4 years. He was also appointed to serve on the City's Recreation Commission for 2 years. He has seen first hand the challenges families and people face in our district. He is committed to being a fighter for us in Lansing and making sure the taxpayers are not having their money wasted and stolen by corrupt politicians.

Sam: Where He Stands
We Deserve Better.
For the past two years, the People of Michigan have been subjected to some of the harshest and most tyrannical attacks seen on our Constitutional Rights in recent memory. We need Representatives that are willing to go to Lansing and push back against this assault on our most basic freedoms. Sam is willing to take on this fight.
Election Integrity
The events that transpired at the TCF Center in Detroit on November 3rd, 2020 were and continue to be a national disgrace. Never again can we allow an election to be undermined so brazenly. Sam is committed to restoring public trust in our elections. As your Representative, Sam will support legislation that secures Michigan elections through increased cybersecurity, Voter ID, and ballot verification measures. In addition to this Sam is committed to passing legislation that increases the maximum penalties for individuals that engage in fraudulent election activities.
Let's END the never-ending mandates.
Two years ago, the Chinese Communist Party began the greatest bio-terrorism campaign in world history when they unleashed COVID-19 upon the world and did nothing to warn of or stop the virus that brought the entire planet to a halt. In light of this attack, many of our "leaders" responded by enacting the most tyrannical and suffocating mandates ever seen in our Nation's history. Here in Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer subjected us to the tightest restrictions in the entire country, and her insane policies resulted in the deaths of THOUSANDS of Michigan seniors in Nursing Homes.
Once elected, Sam will push for legislation in the House that will bring an END to suffocating lockdowns and mandates that are killing our businesses, destroying lives, and preventing our kids from going to school.
2nd Amendment
The Constitution could not be more clear. The Second Amendment SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Sam is a proud CPL holder, gun owner, and gun rights activist. During the COVID-19 pandemic the Wayne County clerk violated the Constitution of the State Michigan and failed to issue thousands of CPL licenses to individuals that had completed all requirements set by the State. As one of the people affected, Sam did not take this blatant attack on the rights of Wayne County residents lightly. Sam is currently joined with The Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners and Michigan Gun Owners Inc. in filling suit against the Wayne County Clerk for their blatant violation of the Constitution. Once elected, Sam will work with Republicans in the legislature to FINALLY pass Constitutional Carry laws in our State that make it easier for law abiding citizens to practice their God given right to self defense.
Saving Michigan's Economy
The failed leadership of Gretchen Whitmer and brutal lockdowns have wreaked havoc on Michigan's economy. Workers, businesses, and residents have been fleeing our State as a result of these reckless policies. As your Representative, Sam will fight to make sure we make Michigan a desirable place to invest and do business with limited government intervention.
Education
For decades, Republicans have ceded control of the education system to the left. COVID-19 has helped expose what a disastrous failure that has been. Parents were given an oppurtunity to really look at what the public school sytem is trying to teach our children and they did not like what they see.
Parents do not want their children to be forced into wearing inneffective masks that limit oxygen to their developing brain for 8 hours a day. They also don't want their children being taught far left theories on race, gender, and sexuality. They want no part of this taxpayer funded child abuse.
As your Representative, Sam will vote YES on House Bill 5722 that would require all public schools in Michigan to make their curriculums public or face losing their funding. Sam will work tirelessly to pass legislation that ensures Critical Race Theory never takes over our classrooms and that our Students are taught that their value is not determined by their skin color. Democrats in Lansing believe that you do not have the right to determine your childs education. Sam is ready to make it clear: Our children are not wardens of the State.
